Stella Chatzopoulou studied History at the Department of History and Archaeology of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2008). She gained her master’s degree in Early Modern history at the University of Sheffield (2011). She holds a PhD in European History from the University of Athens (2020) (thesis title: “Gender representations in English broadside ballads: family and labour, 1600-1850”, Grade: Excellent-Distinction). Her research interests are focused on early modern and modern European history and on the field of social and cultural history in particular. Her current research explores aspects of gender history, history of the family, labour history, history of childhood and youth.
