General Email Setup Instructions

All users who have an account at the University of the Aegean have the right to access the service, through which they can communicate with the Department’s secretariat, other University Services as well as with students and the wider academic community. Mail management is done through a web-based environment https://webmail.aegean.gr
The mailbox email address follows the format: username@sa.aegean.gr. The username is based on specific nomenclature rules (decision of the Rector’s Council – meeting number 100/24.09.2001) for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, PhD Candidates and External and Temporary users of the Department.

Open eClass (eclass)

Platform usage instructions

The Open eClass platform is a comprehensive e-Learning Management System.

By using their personal codes, students have access to the e-class platform, to enhance and better organize the educational process, creating a dynamic environment of interaction and continuous communication between instructors and students. Note: Enrolling in eclass for courses does not constitute course registration. Course registration is done in the student register. The first time you use the platform, you will need to register once on eclass. To register, use your username and password by filling out the registration form.

Academic Identity Card online service

The Academic Identity Card (PASS) is issued upon commencement of studies and is a personal document. It does not replace the political identity card. It certifies student status and facilitates the holder’s access to university services, public transportation discounts and a series of other benefits/offers for students. It is issued following an electronic application to the Electronic Service for Acquiring Academic Identity of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.
