


The Department of Social Anthropology and History offers a state of the art and comprehensive program on key areas which are presupposed for a solid understanding of social and cultural phenomena in Greece, Europe, and the world at large. Overall, the Department’s undergraduate program offers about eighty-five courses, on a four-year basis, covering a wide spectrum of subfields in Social Anthropology and History as well as other fields of the social sciences and the humanities. Teaching aims at consolidating knowledge, developing critical reflection, as well as enhancing skills in written and oral communication.
