Learning outcomes:
General Competences:
The course revolves around important international and domestic economic and political events that marked the period 1950-2010 and led to key decisions that affected the development course of the Greek economy. It is structured in three parts, each of which covers twenty years of the period under consideration. The conditions of the international economic environment, the dominant ideological economic perceptions and their effect on the choices made by the Greek socio-economic system in the economic challenges it faced are chronicled and analyzed

On the fifth, nineth and thirteenth week of the course, the students will submit a paper that will each determine a quarter of the total grade. The remaining 25% will be determined by general participation during the course.
